(Kansas City, MO) White Mule Organics has been awarded the contract to supply organic fertilizers and growth products for the new Department of Missouri Conservation Building in Columbia, MO.

The $6.2 million dollar facility incorporates energy efficient features both inside and out. A heat repelling roof and a geothermal heating and cooling system that uses 75 wells drilled to a depth of 350 feet – as well as aesthetic touches such as a one third mile natural trail and a rainwater catchment system which will drain into pools around the facility all show the departments commitment to “going green”.

Patti Banks Associates of Kansas City, MO is the landscape architect for the project while Peckham & Wright of Columbia, MO was the architect.

White Mule Organics, Inc. consults and distributes nationwide on projects in the soil restoration and conservation industry offering a full array of “green products”. For more information on their products and/or services, visit their website at www.whitemuleorganics.com.
