(Kansas City, MO.) White Mule Organics, Inc. is pleased to announce that Charles R. Dixon has joined their staff as head agronomist complimenting the array of services and products already offered by the company.
Mr. Dixon, who has provided consultation and services to the landscaping and turf industry since 1985, has an extensive list of projects he has been involved with and is the author of numerous magazine and publication articles. Featured articles in Sports Turf Magazine furthered his credentials and credibility adding to his project list over 110 golf courses not only in the continental United States, but courses in Thailand, Russia, Japan, Switzerland, and Egypt.
Graduating with a Master’s Degree in Agronomy and Soil Microbiology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, he later obtained his Post Master’s Degree from Texas A & M. A member of American Society of Agronomy, Mr. Dixon has also been involved in projects for major sporting teams to include The Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers. His expertise has been called upon by various public and private entities from high schools, municipalities, to thoroughbred racing operations. He has designed soils for very high profile and visibile projects such as Nasher Sculpture Garden, Burnham Park, and the World Trade Center Memorial.
Mr. Dixon’s responsibilities with White Mule will include consulting to landscape architects and maintenance groups to promote sustainable technologies. He will also pursue application strategies of the White Mule Organics product line to agricultural and environmental markets.
